Job Title: Maintenance Manager - Cold Steel Forming

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance activities within our Steel Roll Forming facility. The Maintenance Manager is expected to use all preventative measures to ensure the upkeep of various machinery, tools and facilities while also inspecting finished projects for quality assurance. We also hold the expectation that they will be able to implement effective processes that reduce maintenance costs and improve productivity while maintaining a clean and safe working environment for all employees.

Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure effective and efficient operations.
• Equipment Maintenance: Manage and execute maintenance programs for all cold steel forming machinery and related equipment to ensure optimal functionality and longevity.
• Troubleshooting: Investigate equipment malfunctions, diagnose technical issues, and develop solutions to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the maintenance budget, including resource allocation, procurement of necessary tools and parts, and cost-effective maintenance strategies.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols, industry regulations, and quality standards in all maintenance activities.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance activities, including equipment history, repairs, and modifications, for reference and future planning.
• Training and Development: Identify training needs and facilitate the professional development of the maintenance team to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field. Relevant certifications or equivalent work experience will be considered.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in the steel or metal forming industry, with a strong understanding of cold steel forming processes.
• Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading and managing a maintenance team, with excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of cold steel forming equipment, machinery, and maintenance best practices. Experience with hydraulic systems, CNC machinery, and industrial automation is desirable.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to analyze complex technical issues to develop effective solutions.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with safety regulations, quality standards, and compliance requirements within the steel forming industry.
