Position Overview:

A well-established commercial construction firm specializing in structural steel and ornamental metals is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Superintendent. This role is ideal for a construction professional with a strong background in multifamily commercial projects and a desire to lead field operations with confidence, integrity, and attention to detail. The Superintendent will oversee all aspects of job site execution, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily field operations across multiple project sites, ensuring adherence to schedule and scope.

• Utilize ProCore to manage daily project reporting and updates.

• Source, hire, and schedule subcontractors, maintaining accountability for performance and deadlines.

• Order materials and manage on-site logistics to align with project milestones.

• Motivate and lead crews to meet quality standards while staying on schedule and budget.

• Interface professionally with project teams and site personnel.

• Support accurate job cost reporting and monthly invoicing.

• Enforce all job site safety standards and maintain a secure work environment.

• Report directly to the Project Manager.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 7+ years of commercial construction experience, specifically with structural steel, stairs, rails, and miscellaneous metals.

• Strong project supervision and field management capabilities.

• Ability to interpret blueprints and shop drawings accurately.

• Skilled in layout and field measurement techniques.

• Knowledge of job cost tracking and billing practices.

• Effective communicator with strong scheduling and organizational skills.

• Proficient with computers; experience with construction software preferred.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

• Willingness to travel as needed.
