AM – 25 Project Manager – Steel Erection | Twin City, GA

Join a growing team delivering complex structural steel projects across the Southeast. This role offers the opportunity to lead high-impact projects from initial planning through final completion, ensuring safety, quality, budget, and schedule objectives are achieved.

The ideal candidate will oversee all phases of project execution, apply proven project management methodologies, and serve as the primary point of coordination between internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and vendors. Success in this role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced steel fabrication and construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead structural steel projects from planning through completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Develop and manage project plans, including scope, schedules, resource allocation, and project milestones.
• Coordinate and facilitate meetings with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
• Oversee project execution, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain schedule and budget targets.
• Identify project risks proactively and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impacts on project performance.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, contract requirements, and industry regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Communicate project status, challenges, and key milestones to stakeholders and company leadership.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, verify safety compliance, and maintain strong relationships with field personnel and contractors.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in project management.
• Strong project management, negotiation, and contractor management skills.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, meeting facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and requirements management skills.
• Ability to analyze project performance and make data-driven decisions to achieve project goals.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in structural steel fabrication and erection projects.
• Knowledge of AISC standards and OSHA 1926 Subpart R requirements.
• Strong understanding of construction safety and OSHA regulations.
• Experience with Tekla PowerFab or similar steel fabrication management software.
